a portrait of my character, Alex. I’ve done some pieces of him before but I’ve never been really pleased with the results, they never looked like him but I think this has really worked out, this is more what I have in mind for him. I’m thinking of doing a kind of character chart of all his different expressions ^^

I tell ya…the shit I doodle in public places >.>;; just had a longish day of doing almost nothing. So, what does an artist do when they are suddenly freed of the frantic burden to make artwork and put it all together in a portfolio..??
Draw, apparently! XD on what ever piece of paper is near them.
Just…decided unwanted to revisit my ‘Red Quern’ piece and possibly get to working on a series of other Disney relates lesbian love satire things.
The difference 2 year makes >.>; it was definitely time to revisit. It’s just in pencil on printing paper for now.

Current Project!

I’ve been working on this as a final piece for my semester and my portfolio. I haven’t been able to work on it as much as I’d like to have since I’ve been sick and working to get everything else done, but I’ve finished the line work and I’ll be doing the color tomorrow!

They’re a couple of circus faeries that are paid with fruits and berries. Kind of a cute idea I’ve been considering maybe making a little children’s book for or something. Either way, they’re cute and I”m enjoying them <3

Yay insomnia! X_X;;

woke up at a ridiculous hour this morning and couldn’t sleep so I woke up and started working. It’s nice to work again, after being sick most thanksgiving weekend and totally useless. The little sheeple girl is coming along, doing the shading now, gotta wonder if she’s starting to look creepy instead of cute though XD maybe I’ve been staring at her too long…

I’m working on a small series of little spot illustrations for a fun article and this is the one I’m working on now and it’s just…turning out adorable XDD it’s a ‘sheeple’ (like…sheep people?)

but yes, here’s hoping it stays being cute XDD

Revisiting my old silhouette piece of the loving rat owner and rendering it as…well, as not a silhouette! Just finished the line work!

And here’s a close up since I know the lines are pretty thin in the full view

Next step is coloring and such! I’ll post when I’m finished, though I’m not sure what I want to do with that box there, I like how it frames it but maybe I should put something more then a solid color in it. Any ideas??
